Clinton Friedman

This spring we are going to be lucky enough to have the gorgeous cushions and prints of Clinton Friedman in store.

Clinton is a photographer and designer from South Africa.  Nature clearly means a lot to him and he captures it in the most beautiful images that are then either printed on to Canvas, framed prints and cushions both indoor and out.

There is a huge selection of images and let me tell you it was hard to choose!  Take a peek for your self at some of his amazing work here.

I have a natural pull towards anything botanic and green so it is not surprising that some of my favourites are the botanics, both flora and fauna and also some of the amazing African Portraits.

I find his work, really makes you stop and wonder at natures beauty, imagine having a piece in your home that does that!

Clinton wishes to encourage people to grow more conscious of nature; to smile more often and to delight in the natural beauty within ourselves and in that which surrounds us.

You can see what I mean, beautiful!!

This week has seen a new arrival of our gorgeous Mango trees, these are popular for hallways, kids bedrooms and even around pool areas for towels. $540.00 each

We also managed to put up this beautiful Indian Swing in the window, I'm sure it wont last long, the detail on the hooks is gorgeous (as per pic below), I imagine this in an amazing garden somewhere, swinging slowly in the summer breeze!

Wishful Wednesday

In keeping with last week's Wishful Wednesday post, we bring you another drool worthy property, this time of the uber trendy Surry Hills variety. Being one of Sydney's most creative suburbs, it is fitting that this pimped out property features an artist's studio seperated from the house by a sunfilled, modern courtyard. We love the natural light, exposed timber beams and quirky open plan bedroom/bathroom situation. The architects, Mark Hurcum and Nick Turner, have made the most of the narrow block with floor to ceiling glass, bi-folds and plenty of white. This property is currently on the market with 'Price on Request'.. no surprises there! Images via Domain.

French Goodness

One of the biggest selling items in store are these devine pieces of jewellery from France, each piece made by hand, it is always a delight to see what will be in the delivery when it arrives as no two are the same.  I love being the bearer of good news when the message goes out that they are in store!

Wishful Wednesday!

I thought to get over the mid week slump I would have a "Wishful Wednesday", although on second thoughts it could be a tad depressing as for most of us as we probably wont be residing in any of these amazing properties any time soon, but you just never know!
This amazing property is located in Coorabell, which is situated in the beautiful Byron Bay Hinterland, the magical estate sits high on 23 hectares of land and is magically named Coorabella.  A favourite with the media set, Coorabella has been featured in many a glossy mag such as Instyle, Maddison and Country Style.  The whimsical white teepee, the European style pool and rustic interiors are all gorgeous although I would have to get out the white paint and paint the whole interior, that may be a crime but I would be willing to pay the penalty as it is just a bit dark for me inside.
